We met Amy and Tom at the 518 Wedding Expo this January, and had coffee the week after! We immediately clicked, and laughed SO much while we were there! Also, shoutout to Starbucks for letting us take over their lounge chair section 🙂 We might need to go furniture shopping soon! 🤷♀️
While Amy and Tom are incredible people, I feel like this blog should be dedicated to Gus because he’s our favorite.
Gus is a full blooded, raw fed Mastiff bundle of fur, and he deserves all of the treats. All of them. Not only was he super photogenic, but he also patiently waited as we took some ~human only~ portraits.
I should also mention that we miss Gus, and while we know he’s getting more than enough treats and pats on the head, we would like to request more treats and pats for him, as he is such a good boi.
THAT SAID, I suppose we should get back to the humans of this engagement session, because they’re the ones who are getting married after all. 🙂
Amy and Tom are some of the sweetest, most down to earth people you’ll ever meet! For their engagement session, they took us to one of their/Gus’s favorite places, which just so happens to be where Amy’s aunt got engaged!!! We soooo appreciate our couples choosing locations that are special to them!
Something that was so helpful with this e-sesh is that Amy is also a photographer herself!! Because we had never been to this location before, she actually sent me videos showing me the light and location there (and Gus!!!!!!), so I was able to get ideas for pictures before we even got there! I also love that they brought a blanket to stay warm with and snuggle under!!!
Towards the end of the day it got brutally cold, and we had all left our coats in the cars, which were about a five minute walk back to one way. WHOOPS. I should’ve planned that one better! Thankfully we had hand warmers and creative energy to run off of! Amy and Tom were such great sports and stuck out the cold with us, and never complained no matter how numb all of our hands and feet were! I think it was totally worth it! We even got snow at the end of their session as well!!
